Neil Zaza - I’m Alright Guitar Cover by Yoeru

New guitar music video is now up and running at my account in YouTube. The title of the song is I’m Alright which is originally performed by Neil Zaza. I have posted the video here

This recording is my first attempt to use SONAR sound editing software to mix my guitar tracks and also use Amplitube as VST plugin for the amp simulation and effects. The gears used in this recording are the following:

  • ESPxEdwards Electric Guitar (with Seymor Duncan pick-ups, SH14 and TB4)
  • Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Fatal1ty Line-In 2/Mic 2 (where the guitar is plugged in)
  • SONAR sound recording software which captures the sound and record as a single track. This is mixed with another track, I’m Alright backtrack to be specific.
  • Amplitube 2, which is loaded in SONAR as VST plugin that generates the guitar effects and amplifier simulation.
  • Canon PowerShot A620 using 320×240 resolution to capture the video.
  • Finally, Windows Movie Maker to mixed the video and audio plus subtitles.

I’ll add the tone configuration of my current Amplitube patch settings on my next article. I’ll have a break, something like coffee and watch another episode of Heroes first :D

Keep rocking!
